Certified Medical Assistants

UI Health has multiple openings for certified medical assistants in outpatient settings. Job duties include performing a variety of clinical and clerical services to support outpatient services under the direction of the clinical staff. Applicants must be highly motivated, organized, customer service-focused individuals with excellent clinical and computer skills.

Requirements include: 

  • High school graduation or equivalent.
  • Possession of a current/valid certification as a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant by an approved certifying board as defined by the employing institution.
  • The three accepted certifying boards are: the American Association of Medical Assistants, American Medical Technologists and the National Center for Competency Testing.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS CPR required.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.

Salary & Benefits:

Certified Medical Assistant compensation commensurate with experience; hourly rates starting at $17.22.
